Medium garnet with clear edges. A ridiculously heady perfume of dirty girl decadent spice, wonderful dried spit, frankincense and myrrh heaped on piles of sultry fruit so concentrated in the nose, but coming off light and lean, ethereal and translucent mountain chalky berry so pure and balanced, with tannins a breath of cool air completing light bitter darkness. For what I paid in a resty, this thing is probably 22$US full retail and for that I would either drink gallons weekly or glass it by the case all day long. An inspiring restaurant wine, and one which lifts a list into heavenly territory. Seek this one out.
